Webinar series for NHRIs on the right to a healthy environment
The Right to a Healthy Environment and the Role of National Human Rights Institutions – Webinar Series
The UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and the Environment, Global Alliance for National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI), UN Development Programme (UNDP), Swedish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA) and UN Environment Programme (UNEP) have teamed up to record a series of interactive webinars for NHRIs to discuss their role and experience in relation to environmental matters in their jurisdictions.
These webinars document what NHRIs – together and individually – have done in the area of human rights and the environment, identify future opportunities for NHRIs to further protect and promote human rights in the field of the environment, and provide an opportunity for NHRIs to exchange experiences and share good practices and practical approaches to promoting and implementing human rights relating to the environment.
