Re-accreditation: Burundi, Cyprus, Ireland, Malaysia, Mauritius, Iraq, Scotland

Deferral: Hungary, Russian Federation

Session 2: 18-29 October 2021 (if held virtually) / 18-22 October 2021 (if held in-person)

Accreditation: Brazil

Re-accreditation: Korea, Mongolia, Northern Ireland, Palestine, Qatar, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Uruguay, Zimbabwe

Information is available to assist NHRIs at each stage of the accreditation process.

External contributions

The Sub Committee on Accreditation welcomes reports from local and international non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and civil society organisations (CSOs) with regard to the functioning of NHRIs under review and/or with regard to any developments which may initiate a special review by the SCA.

Reports received from NGOs and CSOs are shared with the concerned NHRIs for their information and comments prior to the accreditation session.

The deadline for submission of reports by NGOs/CSOs for the June 2021 session is 19 February 2021 and the deadline for the October 2021 session is 16 June 2021
