The DPP reports that while it has received adequate funding for the fulfillment of its mandate, an increase in the budget will allow the institution to strengthen the development of its mandate. The SCA is of the view that adequate funding should, to a reasonable degree, ensure the gradual and progressive realization of the improvement of the NHRI´s operation and fulfillment of its mandate.

The SCA encourages the DPP to continue to advocate for an increase in funding to further allow it to fulfill the breadth of its mandate.
