This Mapping Exercise, undertaken in 2017 by GANNRI and UNICEF, seeks to support the work of national human rights institutions (NHRIs) on children’s rights, and how to link this to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The results draw on survey responses provided by 65 national human rights institutions (NHRIs) from all global regions. The questionnaire consisted of 24 closed and open questions that sought to record the activities of NHRIs relating to the promotion and protection of the rights of children, as well as how they engage with children in their work.
